Melissa Long

I am a proud University of Florida graduate who was born and raised in Florida but now proudly calls East Tennessee home. Growing up, I learned the value of hard work, integrity, and serving others while working alongside my dad in our small family business. Those early experiences shaped my work ethic and my commitment to putting people first.

My passion for leadership began through my service as a Florida FFA State Officer, where I developed skills that continue to guide me today. That foundation has helped me build a team that is empowered to serve our customers with compassion, professionalism, and excellence.

My experience in the industry started as an all lines claim rep, where I had the privilege of serving my local community for five years before relocating to Tennessee. After moving to East Tennessee, I spent more than five years working alongside a State Farm agent before opening my own agency. Today, I am proud to serve our community and am an active member of the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce.

My husband, Jimmy, and I recently completed construction on our forever home here in East Tennessee, and we feel incredibly blessed to be raising our family in such a wonderful community. We have three amazing children and two beloved fur babies, Millie Kate and Knox.

Our youngest son, Kyler, attends Lakeway Christian Academy and is pursuing his dream of playing collegiate baseball. Our daughter, Hannah, is a registered nurse and proud ETSU graduate. She recently purchased her first home and is excited to marry her fiancé, Nolan Parks, in May 2027. Our oldest son, Isaiah, and his wife, Gracie, are beginning an exciting new chapter as Isaiah serves as a golf professional in Morristown while Gracie launches her career in physical therapy.

Our family has also been blessed to open our home to three international student-athletes: Eried and Abraham from Panama and Xyron from Aruba. Welcoming them into our family has been an incredibly rewarding experience.

When we're not in the office, you'll almost always find us at a football field or baseball diamond. We love all sports, especially traveling the country to support Kyler's baseball journey. And when it comes to SEC football, our household is happily divided—a rivalry that makes Saturdays even more fun!
